Talia + Elliot // a Sylvanside Farm wedding

After one of my favorite engagement sessions of the year in a vintage diner in Northern Virginia, it’d be an understatement to say I was stoked for Talia + Elliot’s wedding day at Sylvanside Farm in Purcellville. They were just the most fun to be around back in February and that did not change one bit on this beautiful September afternoon.

From the jump, my documentation started in the way I love - heading immediately in to their first look where Talia + Elliot were both absolutely beaming. I think my favorite part was their synchronized air kisses. The good vibes never stopped. A highlight for me was their ketubah signing. I’ve photographed many of them over the years, but Talia + Elliot’s was the first I’d witnessed that incorporated song, and it was a very special thing to witness. I think a lot about moments and traditions I only get to experience firsthand because of this job and I’m always immensely grateful to get to be here.

Other highlights: Elliot’s face when Talia walked down the aisle. Their incredibly chaotic horah (I momentarily thought the floor might collapse hahaha). The portraits of tiny them in the barn. Mostly just how happy they looked the entire time. When people ask me how I don’t get tired of doing “the same thing over and over,” it’s pretty easy when we’re having this much fun.
